PRODUCTION is the process of adding everything else that's needed to produce a commercially viable result. This could include the addition of studio FX, addition of instrument tracks (Bass, Lead/Fill Guitar, Drums, Percussion, Piano, Synthesizer, Strings, etc.), addition of backing vocals, and more. You tell us what you want and we make it happen. If you're not sure what you want, we can offer many ideas to get you started.

MIXING is the process of track leveling, frequency equalization, dynamics management, and panning to achieve overall clarity, balance, stereo width, warmth and punch consistent with today's top audio productions. FIXING involves, pitch correction, timing correction and removal of unwanted artifacts. MASTERING is the process of fine tuning the overall dynamics, tonal balance, stereo width and loudness of the final stereo output per broadcast standards and industry best practices.

Wether your end-product is a packaged CD or on-line streaming download, you'ill need great graphics to highlight your project. NEWSONG provides professional creative GRAPHIC DESIGN services that will represent you well and help get your project noticed.

Today, many artists opt to sell their completed works on streaming sites like, Spotify, Amazon.com, iTunes, and many more. CDBaby.com provides a DIGITAL DISTRIBUTION service that allows you to submit your works to multiple sites at once for one fee, and receive all sales revenue in one CDBaby account. We're very familiar with the CDBaby process/requirements and can do the submission for you. You simply pay the CDBaby fee and our time for the submission (about 2 hrs per album, depending on the number of tracks). We make this process easy.

If your copyrighted work is played on the radio, or at a live venue, or your printed material is duplicated by a 3rd party, you may be due royalties. Many of our artists choose to upgrade their CDBaby Digital Distribution service to the PRO level, which includes management of ROYALTY COLLECTION thru a selected PRO. The acronym PRO stands for Property Rights Organization. ASCAP and BMI are two well known PROs. We can help upgrade your Standard CDBaby release to CDBaby PRO, so you can start collecting the royalties you're due.

Once your audio files and graphic design are complete, you may want physical CD copies for your own personal use, or to hand out to friends, or to sell at venues. We do low volume CD DUPLICATION at our studio, or we can submit your project to an on-line service for higher volume duplication (CDR) or Replication (Pressed) resulting in a much lower cost per disc. We can do the on-line duplication/replication submission for you, or point you to a good on-line supplier for self submission. The process can be complicated, so you may want our help (ISRCs, UPCs, IPR sign-off, licensing, audio formatting & upload, graphic formatting & upload etc) .

It's important to document authorship of an original work with a copyright. We've helped many artists thru the COPYRIGHT process. We recommend using the SR-Form thru the US Library of Congress. We can show you how to do this or we can do the submission for you. We only charge for the time it takes us to do a submission. Either way, you should secure a solid defendable copyright of your original material. The protection and peace of mind are worth it.
